1. Come See
US Churches are invited to “Come See” the needs of a target area of Delhi and what God is doing there. They are also invited to “Come See” by getting to know the Delhi Bridge Team and understand the training tools available. This is also accomplished through the use of resources found on the Delhi Bridge website (www.DelhiBridge.com) and through email contact with the Delhi Bridge Team.
2. Come Follow
If God is prompting a US church to move forward with building a Delhi Bridge, the church is invited to come and spend some quality time with a Delhi church to reach a target area. This is the “Come Follow” stage. Based on the training and relational needs of both churches, the trip can be formulated strategically. It’s best if there are elements of “Word and Deed” in the training. The training should be Biblical and practical. The US church will model and assist the local church in activities and strategies that lead towards establishing healthy churches.
a. Word: The US church will train and teach the Delhi church how to grow and multiply as a healthy church to plant more churches.
b. Deed: The US church would would walk alongside the Delhi church in applying the training that they just taught.
This will accomplish three things. First, the two churches will be relationally joined together by doing ministry together. Second, both churches will benefit when they see how God moves when they come together. Finally, God’s kingdom will grow, people will be saved and churches will be formed.
3. Come Be
The next phase of the Delhi Bridge process is when a US church invites a Delhi church to “Come Be” in a committed, deepening partnership. It’s a relational bridge. Both churches will keep communicating throughout the year and praying for one another via Skype, email, Whatsapp, and other forms of social media. They will help each other with ministry questions and encouragement. At this stage the US church addresses deeper issues facing the Delhi church. They will help follow up with any new churches that have been established. There are tools available to deepen the roots of these churches in the Word of God.
4. Go Make
As the leadership and facilitating role of the Delhi Bridge Team decreases, the leadership of the US churches increases. The US church will be considered strategic team members that facilitate their own strategy to reach their target area. They would communicate and coordinate teams, strategy, and training more independently The Delhi Bridge Team will be available to assist them as they have needs. A Delhi Bridge Partner Church would be commissioned to “Go Make” by training and coaching other US churches to facilitate more Delhi Bridges.
